PART 2: HERE WE GROW!

<BACK Over the years, Teddy’s Transport was literally a family ran business, with only family driving. Ted & Mary’s daughters and sons-in-law drove as needed: some full-time and some part-time. However, in 1988 they bought their first 24’ straight truck and hired their first full-time, non-family employee. Over time they added employees and trucks. At this point they did most of their expediting in the state of Michigan, with occasional deliveries in Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio. Teddy’s Transport was growing by word of mouth. Ted & Mary never had a sales person marketing or promoting their business. It grew based on their reliability, honesty, and the reputation they were building.

By 1994 Teddy’s Transport had grown into quite a fleet. It forced them to move to their current facility in Holland, Michigan. At this time Teddy’s Transport offered full nationwide expediting service. NEXT>
